1987 Catalina Morgan Classic
This Catalina - Morgan Classic, is the much improved version of the truly classic Morgan OutIsland 41 that dominated the Caribbean charter trade in the 1980s, which was the first boat I ever took off shore to the Bahamas in the 1980s. When Catalina Yachts took over Charlie Morgan operation this is one of the models they chose to continue building, though be it with much better sailing performance switch from the sluggish full keel to a modern under-body, and fin keel. This version will actually sail to weather and tack without having to fire up the engine.
OK, OK, OK, has had only two owners, and current owner since 2009. This boat has had regular up grades and meticulously maintained. Upgrades include new Nextgen generator 3.5 KW 2018, all new (golf cart) batteries 2021. Propane stove/oven w/aluminum propane tanks, 16000 BYU air/heat with remote, solar panels, full cockpit enclosure with hard Bimini.top, and the the list goes on
The Classic Out-Island design still lives and is still providing one of the best of the Center Cockpit huge aft cabin style cruisers that was ever built. These are rare to come on the market especially in this condition.
