1986 Island Packet 31

Mobile, Alabama

$49,500

Evensong is a fine example of the quality and craftsmanship of all Island Packets.  It  is a very clean and well maintained shallow draft center board model, perfect for the Gulf Coast bayous, rivers and gunk holes. It has an excellent Yanmar 27 HP diesel rebuilt by Middleton Marine that has been professionally maintained, and less than 1000 hours. The interior is in very excellent condition, and the aft double quarter berth cabin can be fully enclosed for privacy. The head is converted to electric with macerated over board discharge and holding tank. The AC will chill you out in August.

This IP31 has  new electronics and never any chain-plate issues.

Accommodations

Island Packets are known for their roomy, solid teak interiors, with ample storage throughout.  By placing all of the fuel and water tanks below the cabin sole, it frees up all the settees and lockers for storage.  The galley is to port and features an alcohol stove, Adler Barber refrigeration and stainless steel sink.  The main cabin is wide and spacious and features the traditional IP fold down table with storage shelves inside.  The starboard settee extends out and makes a double berth.  The v-berth is wide and has a hanging locker, and the head is very comfortable with a fold down shower seat above the head itself.  The starboard aft double quarter-berth features a fold up nav table, and can also be completely enclosed for privacy.
