1985 Hunter 28.5

The ever popular hunter 28.5. This boat has undergone a complete refit. Taking her from what was already a solid and well liked boat all the way to better then new and ready to take you anywhere. The thoughtfully customized  interior makes for a comfortable and functional layout that would make a great live aboard. With a  42’ tall rig, upgraded racing rigging, shes ready to go anywhere. 

This boat comes ready to go. Better then the original.  This boat has been structurally reenforced, with a bulk head added in the aft cabin and reenforced cockpit. The custom floor plan is made out of marine grade plywood. Marine air A/C and heat installed with a digital display. Works well on and off shore. Fresh top job. Engine has been serviced, including oil change, hoses, belts, and valve adjustment, Shaft alignment. Comes with extra impeller as well as belts. An engine hour meter was installed. Clear view transducer mounted with Garmin Chart plotter. 

Front ice chest was removed and replaced with a 12v drawer refrigerator with freezer. 2 west marine batteries are 900CA 100amp AGM with a custom butcher block battery box. All new sanitation hoses, valves and jabco pump. New hot water heater and hoses.  Custom 3 layer salon cover, thermal barrier with marine mesh for drainage. New cushions throughout. 32’ tv on a swivel mount. Recently replaced carpet throughout. Upgraded captains seats.

Bottom job was done in 2020 including replacing strut, cuttles, stainless steal shaft, stainless backing plates on keel. Rudder and packing nut recondition and do not leak. Dodger has new vinyl and cover. Mounted VHF as well as handheld.  110 converter installed, has shore power cables, all new salon windows freshly painted name. Comes with two anchors and 150’ line and chain. New lines bow to stern.
