1973 Pearson 39

Mobile, Alabama

$39,500

Pearson was one of the early successful builders of production fiberglass yachts.  The jury was still out on the endurance of fiberglass in the early 70s when other builders like Hinkley and Chris Craft were still building out of wood, so these boats were "overbuilt", hence the reason there are so many of these classic Pearson's still serving their owners and performing like the day they were launched.

Katama has been pampered and has been maintained with a high degree of care and upgrades over the years. Air conditioning, propane stove/oven, newer electronics, sails and rigging, solar and canvas all await the next owner.

Current owner has finally moved up to a newer boat and is looking for another loving family to take the reins and guide Katama though it's 5th decade of loyal service.  2019 survey available with accepted offer.
