Estate Sale - they want it gone!!

The Wellington 47 Flushdeck (nearly 54' LOA) was the ultimate blue water cruiser and one of the most popular to visit in the 1973 Annapolis Sailboat show. With only a hand full built, reportedly only 5, each was simi custom.  This one had "crew-quarter" fore cabin with in-suite head w/shower, salon with folding cherry-wood dinette table pilot berth, galley, then walk-thru to aft enormous, Pirate ship style aft stateroom with stand up, separate shower in the head.

The owner recently passed away after sailing this boat for more than a quarter century. Unfortunately the boat has been neglected due to failing health and the should be considered a "project", especially the interior where the salon bulkhead wall and compression post have given way to wood rot.  Mast being currently supported temporary pilings, but boat is movable under power. Its Ford Lehman diesel and Westerbeak generator are reported to be running and the boat was sailed in November of 2017.  If interested in a project, and your dream for a world cruiser or live-a-board for a 10th of what you might expect to pay.  You need to take a look.
