If you're looking for an ideal small cruiser, or perfect liveaboard,
this is your boat! Morgan didn't make that many of the Out Island
33's, but they are the most spacious liveaboard in their size! This
boat has been very well maintained, the interior is light and airy,
plenty of storage, and easy to move about! The deck and overheads
have been reconditioned, and painted, a new electric head and holding
tank was installed in 2017, and the cushions and upholstery are all in
This boat has been restored with a completely new electrical system
in 2013, and a new Universal 25 HP Diesel and new transmission in
2005. The engine has been well maintained with frequent oil and
impeller changes, and currently only has 470 hours.
The cockpit is very spacious and has a steering wheel, Raymarine E-80
chartplotter, depth, cockpit cushions, and a bimini. The salon table
is removable and is easily moved to the cockpit for lunches on the hook.
The galley has a 2 burner propane stove, oven, sink with pressure
water, a large refrigerator, and a microwave oven. It is well laid
out and has plenty of storage.
Miss Charlene is plumbed, vented and wired for a built in air
conditioner, but the owner decided to go with a portable unit that is
securely installed for sailing, has been vented to the lazerette, and
the condensation vented to the bilge. After returning to the slip, no
preps are required, just plug in the boat and start it up!
If you're looking for that perfect, economical, live aboard, or just
need a lot of extra space for the family, this makes a great choice.
