The S2 sail boats, most popular on the Great lakes, and built in
Holland MI, had a reputation as high quality production boats. Also,
very successful as a Club racer in their day. The 8.5, a 28 footer,
had one of the largest interiors for a racer/cruiser with standing
head room throughout. This one, is a very clean well kept example,
with a long list of new equipment and up-grades, and hosts a Yanmar 20
hp diesel. With draft under 5' and bridge Clarence under 44' this boat
is a perfect starter boat for the Gulf Coast. Also new Raymarine auto
pilot, and Garmin GPS/ chartplotter, lines run aft, and new sails, it
is ready to sail short handed or race crewed, for the coming sailing
season. For a great racer/cruiser sail boat on a budget, you have to
see this one.

The Nimble trailerable motorsailer is
in a class all of its own. They are huge for a 26' boat, sail or
power. This example has a newer 4-stroke Yamaha 20 hp outboard in a
well, giving them the same look as their diesel counterpoint but
with more hp, and less intrusion into the interior space. It comes
with full galley, inside helm, stand up pilot house, GPS
chartploter, 200 watt solar panels, new batteries, and a mast you
can lower and raise on your own without the need for a marina. It
comes with its twin axle trailer, and can be towed away. This
model is also set up to be Yawl rigged if you want the extra mizzen
sail, or can be use as a motor trawler with mast and rigging removed.

You can't get more classic than this!! Featured in the "Indiana
Jones" movie "Last Crusade" This boat is registered as
a 1939 Chris Craft but we list it as a Chris Craft "style"
because we have no official documentation of it's origin. The boat
has had a beautiful, but older, restoration. We know the engine was
up grated to the 392 Chrysler Fireball V8 shown, and steering is on
right like a Chris Craft, though the wind screen is more like that of
a Hacker-craft. As is, it is a beautiful example of the age of
elegance on the water and great addition to an historical collection,
at a fraction of the price. This boat is ready to go, it needs
nothing to start your enjoyment.
All photos are recent and the boat is offer "as is"
sitting on the trailer. The trailer has all new barrings, breaks, and
tires, and is ready to roll..
